PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device that efficiently traps blood-sucking insects at low operating cost by using kerosene readily available at relatively low cost and being a carbon dioxide gas source.SOLUTION: A trapping device that can efficiently trap blood-sucking insects is invented by: generating carbon dioxide gas by burning readily available kerosene, and using this carbon dioxide gas as relatively long-distance attractants providing a cylindrical landing wall warmed by radiant heat from a mantle of a kerosene burner as a short-range attractive method and combining a blood-sucking action behavior of the blood-sucking insects with gravity.
