PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a residual stem-treating machine having a pullout part, a conveyance part, and a shredding part, wherein residual stems are smoothly sent from the rear part of the conveyance part into the shredding part.SOLUTION: A residual stem-treating machine includes a pullout part 14 for pulling out residual stems on a field while holding them and conveying the residual stems in an obliquely backward and upper direction with the travel of a machine, a conveyance part 15 for conveying the residual stems from the rear part of the pullout part 14 to the backward, and a shredding part 16 for shredding the residual stems from the rear part of the conveyance part 15.
