PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a living support notification system for detecting that a resident has forgotten to take a meal without requiring time and effort and notifying the resident thereof.SOLUTION: The power consumed by electric cooking tools 4a to 4c is measured by power measurement devices 2a to 2c, and the measurement result is wirelessly transmitted to a controller 1. The controller 1 is provided with: a cooking tool use detection means for detecting whether the electric cooking tools 4a to 4c are used or not on the basis of the measurement result of the power consumption wirelessly transmitted from the power measurement devices 2a to 2c a meal detection means for detecting eating action of a resident on the basis of the detection result of the cooking tool use detection means and a non-eating determination means for, when the eating action is not detected by the meal detection means in a scheduled meal time on the basis of the detection result of the meal detection means and time information of the eating action detection means.
