PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine the possibility of removal of the monitoring terminal which is not expected by a user and to continue monitoring of life according to need.SOLUTION: The portable monitoring terminal is for monitoring occurrence of abnormalities in a user's life, and includes wearing detection means, a motion sensor, body motion detection means, and abnormality determination means. The wearing detection means detects the state in which the user is wearing the portable monitoring terminal. The motion sensor detects motions of the portable monitoring terminal and outputs motion data. The body motion detection means detects body motions of the user based on the motion data. The abnormality determination means determines occurrence of abnormalities in the user's life if the body motions have not been detected for a specific monitoring period of time. Further, the abnormality determination means determines whether the monitoring of the life abnormalities needs to be still continued if removal of the terminal has been detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3【課題】ユーザの意図しない監視端末の取り外しの可能性を判定し、必要に応じて生活監視を継続すること。【解決手段】携帯監視端末は、ユーザの生活異常の発生を監視する携帯監視端末であって、装着検出手段と、動きセンサと、体動検出手段と、異常判定手段とを有する。上記装着検出手段は、当該携帯監視端末の上記ユーザへの装着状態を検出する。上記動きセンサは、当該携帯監視端末の動きを検出し動きデータを出力する。上記体動検出手段は、上記動きデータに基づいて上記ユーザの体動を検出する。上記異常判定手段は、上記体動が検出されない状態が所定の監視時間継続した場合に上記ユーザに生活異常が発生したと判定する。また当該異常判定手段は、当該携帯監視端末の取外しを検出した場合に、上記生活異常の監視の継続の要否を判定する。【選択図】図３
