There are provided a promoter containing ginsenoside compound K for the production of hyaluronic acid, and more particularly, a new efficacy of 20-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-20(S)-protopanaxadiol (compound K), a chief metabolite of ginseng saponin, to increase the expression of hyaluronic acid synthase gene in human cell and thereby to promote the production of hyaluronic acid, and an anti-aging agent containing the promoter for the production of hyaluronic acid as an effective ingredient.Linvention concerne un promoteur contenant un composé K ginsenoside, destiné à la production dacide hyaluronique et, plus précisément, un nouvel effet du 20-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-20(S)-protopanaxadiol (composé K), un des principaux métabolites de la saponine du ginseng, permettant daugmenter lexpression du gène de la synthase de lacide hyaluronique chez des cellules humaines et ainsi de promouvoir la production dacide hyaluronique. Linvention concerne également un agent anti-vieillissement utilisant ce promoteur pour la production dacide hyaluronique comme un ingrédient actif.
