A wearable device and associated method for the measurement of continuous pulsation BP (blood pressure) is described. An absolute value can be obtained at an initial stage, and a BP signal obtained at a finger or a wrist can be converted into a true BP value at the height of the heart corresponding to the brachial artery by a conversion function. The wearable device can be in the form of a ring, a wrist watch or a bracelet.
