PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system that achieves urination detection of a diaper wearer in response to the presence of urine by using a passive urine sensor with an IC tag structure.SOLUTION: A urination detection system includes: a urine sensor 3 which is attached to a diaper of a wearer, comprises a urine detection part having a predetermined impedance in a normal state, is an electromagnetic induction type as well as a passive type, and uses an IC tag storing individual information a film-like antenna 6 which is attached to a sheet on a bed and is coupled with the urine sensor 3 through electromagnetic induction a management computer 8 for performing urination monitoring including the individual information of the wearer, and data distribution to a portable information terminal 9 which a care-giver possesses and a transmission/reception controller 7 for supplying power to the film-like antenna 6, and performing data transmission with the management computer 8 that couples the film-like antenna 6 and the urine sensor 3 through electromagnetic induction.
