PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charged grain amount detecting device for a grain storing chamber capable of detecting abnormality in a detecting state to keep accuracy in detecting the amount of charged grain.SOLUTION: This charged grain amount detecting device for a grain storage chamber comprises a wire rope 21r hanging and supporting a weight 21w, a take-up drum 22, and a rotation counting means 22s, and further comprises a control processing portion for calculating the amount of charged grain based on a counting signal of the number of times of rotations of the take-up drum 22 necessary for the weight 21w to move between a prescribed reference position of the weight 21w and a grain charging face, and a reference position sensor 24s for detecting the arrival of the weight 21w at the prescribed reference position by taking up the wire rope 21r.
