PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body frame of a wheelchair for care having a straight advancement property and a turning property, and to make it easy to operate a brake mechanism and a turning lock mechanism provided at the vehicle body frame.SOLUTION: In the vehicle body frame in which casters 20 and 21 which freely turn are attached to front and rear and right and left of the base frame 10 to form front and rear wheels, and a frame plate 14 fixed to the base frame is equipped with the brake mechanism 30 which acts on the right and left rear wheels, the turning lock mechanism 40 which acts at least on one of the rear wheels, and an operation means 50 for operating the brake mechanism and the turning lock mechanism by turning an operation pedal which serves as the operation means 50 downward from a neutral position, the break mechanism 30 is operated to apply braking to the rear wheel, and by turning the operation pedal upward from the neutral position, the turning lock mechanism 40 is operated to hold the rear wheel in a state of a directly advancing direction.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】直進性及び旋回性に優れた介助用車椅子の車体フレームを提供するとともに、この車体フレームに具備するブレーキ機構及び旋回ロック機構の操作が簡単なものとすることである。【解決手段】ベースフレーム10の前後左右にそれぞれ旋回自在なキャスター20,21を取り付けて前後輪とするとともに、該ベースフレームに固着したフレームプレート14には前記左右の後輪に作用するブレーキ機構30と、少なくとも一方の後輪に作用する旋回ロック機構40と、これらブレーキ機構及び旋回ロック機構を作動するための操作手段50を具備してなる車体フレームにおいて、前記操作手段50をなす操作ペダルを中立位置から下方回動することでブレーキ機構30が作動して後輪にブレーキをかけ、操作ペダルを中立位置から上方回動することで旋回ロック機構40が作動して後輪を前進方向の状態で保持するように構成した。【選択図】図1
