A vehicle for moving stacks of cages for poultry or other animals between a cage loading/unloading station and a cage filling station is described. The vehicle comprises a vehicle floor, a first frame and a second frame, a first tray supported rotatably idle by said first frame and a second tray supported rotatably idle by said second frame, a device for rotating said frames about an axis of rotation, wherein the movement of said trays comprises a movement of rotation about said axis of rotation of the frames and a guided movement determined by the engagement between a pin of the tray and a cam.
