PURPOSE: A therapeutic agent for treating alopecia seborrheica is provided to use tryptophan as a novel photosensitizer and to treat alopecia seborrheica. CONSTITUTION: A therapeutic agent for treating alopecia seborrheica contains tryptophan or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. Tryptophan has a photosensitization activity by rays with a wavelength of 280 nm -1000 nm. A kit for treating alopecia seborrheica by photodynamic therapy contains: a composition containing 0.001-30 wt% of tryptophan or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof； and a light source which generates the rays with a wavelength of 280 nm - 1000 nm.본 발명은 트립토판 (Tryptophan)의 지루성 탈모 치료제로서의 신규한 용도에 관한 것이다. 보다 상세하게, 본 발명은 광선에 의하여 활성화되는 성질을 갖는 트립토판을 함유하는 광역학적 치료(photodynamic therapy, PDT)용 광감작제, 및 이를 포함하는 광역학 치료용 키트 및 광역학 치료용 조성물에 관한 것으로서, 지루성 탈모 치료제로서의 신규한 용도에 관한 것이다. 트립토판을 활성화시키는 광원으로는 자외선 또는 가시광선을 사용할 수 있으며, 특히 청색광 또는 녹색광을 사용하는 것이 바람직하다.
