The invention relates to an apparatus for supplying feed which is capable of: reducing a time for feeding and a travel distance by letting the feed be discharged toward one side or the other side with only simple operation according to user selection； and enhancing stability in feeding, and a method for supplying feed using the same. The apparatus comprises: a feed carrying box disposed on a movable conveying member so as to let the feed stored therein be discharged； a feed discharging member rotating in the direction where a user selects so as to convey the discharged feed toward one side or the other side of the rotation direction and discharge the feed； and a movement controlling member moving the feed discharging member toward one side or the other side of the direction where the feed is discharged according to user selection.본 발명은 사용자 선택에 따라 간편한 조작만으로도 일측 또는 타측 방향으로 사료가 배출되도록 함으로써 사료 급이 시간과 이동 거리를 줄일 수 있도록 함과 아울러, 사료 급이시 안전성을 향상시킬 수 있도록 한 사료 급이기 및 이를 이용한 사료 급이 방법에 관한 것으로, 이동 가능한 이송 부재 상에 배치되어 저장된 사료가 토출되도록 하는 사료 적재함, 사용자의 선택 방향으로 회전하여 상기 토출된 사료들을 회전하는 일측 또는 타측 방향으로 이송시켜 배출하는 사료 배출부재, 및 사용자의 선택에 따라 상기 사료 배출부재를 상기 사료가 배출되는 일측 또는 타측 방향으로 이동시키는 이동 제어부재를 구비한 것을 특징으로 한다.
