PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food filling and packaging machine which is friendly to environment and can effectively utilize thermal energy by circulating and reusing air exhausted from a sterile zone without exhausting it to the outside of the machine.
SOLUTION: The food filling and packaging machine 10 equipped with a sterile air circulation system includes an air exhausting part 24 which is provided in a sterile zone 14 and exhausts hydrogen peroxide-containing air, an air treating apparatus 26 equipped with a platinum catalyst for decomposing and removing hydrogen peroxide in the air exhausted to make it to clean air, a heat exchanger 28 for eliminating water content included in the air by lowering temperature of the clean air, a heater 32 for heating the clean air from which the water content is eliminated, a sterile filtrating apparatus 34 for filtrating aseptically the heated clean air by a filter, and a sterile air introducing part 36 provided in the sterile zone 14.
