PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article with high absorbing capability while reducing the size of the article.
SOLUTION: The absorbent article comprises an absorbent article body and an absorber. The absorber is layered and on the absorbent article body in the longitudinal direction, projecting in the longitudinal direction from the outer peripheral edge of the absorbent article body to be jointed to the absorbent article body. The absorber has a region which is independently folded from the absorbent article body.
