PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive winding roll support shaft 20 being a synthetic resin molded article.SOLUTION: The winding roll support shaft is used in a medicine packaging apparatus. On an external surface of a support shaft body 21, a standing/lying piece 22 in an axial direction thereof is provided to be fixed on a support shaft base side, protrusions 23 and 23 on an external surface of the standing/lying piece 22 are locked to a side surface of a protruding strip 13 on an internal surface of a winding roll to prevent a winding roll 10 from idly turning to the support shaft 20. At the same time, another protrusion 24 on the external surface of the standing/lying piece 22 is locked to a front end surface of the protruding strip 13 to prevent the winding roll 10 from being slipped off from the support shaft 20. During rotation when unwinding the winding roll 10, prevention of slipping off is kept by resilient force to the outside of the standing/lying piece 22. By pulling-out force in the axial direction to the winding roll 10, the standing/lying piece 22 loosens inward, and locking between the other protrusion 24 and the end surface of the protruding strip 13 is released, and the winding roll 10 can smoothly be replaced.
