PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation image detector which is superior in impact resistance and offers high-definition radiation images wherein the generation of defective images is prevented.
SOLUTION: The radiation image detector includes a sensor substrate including photoelectric conversion elements arranged in two-dimensional manner, a protective layer arranged on the sensor substrate, an undercoating layer that is applied on the protective layer to flatten the surface, a scintillator layer containing phosphor that is provided on the undercoating layer, and a moisture-proofing protective layer provided on the scintillator layer, wherein the undercoating layer contains a resin with a glass transition temperature of -30 to 90°C.
