PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous heat generating composition that allows heat generation at room temperature, and facilitates the temperature control, and a hyperthermic product using the same.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous heat generating composition contains (A) at least one selected from an inorganic anhydride that generates heat by the reaction with water and has a heat of reaction of 10-500 kJ/mol, and a hydrate thereof, and (B) a water-soluble cellulose ether having a methoxy group as a substituent.
