PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood purifier which is easy to handle and fully exerts permeation capacity of hollow fiber membranes, and also to provide a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: The blood purifier 1 comprises a casing filled with a hollow fiber bundle made by bundling hollow fiber membranes. The hollow fiber membrane contains, as a main membrane material, a polymer alloy membrane made of a polyarylate resin and a polyethersulfone resin. In the blood purifier, blood contacting parts of the hollow fiber membrane are hydrophilized by means of polyvinylpyrrolidone as a hydrophilic polymer. The property of the hollow fiber membrane bundle is adjusted in such a way that when an endotoxin solution of 1,000 EU/L is filtered out for two hours at a flow rate of 50 ml/min from outside to the inside of a hollow fiber membrane having a membrane area of 0.15 m2, endotoxin concentration of filtrate is 1.0 EU/L or less. In addition, water content of the hollow fiber membrane is adjusted to 2.0-15.0 g per 1 m2 of the hollow fiber membrane.COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT【課題】取り扱いが容易で尚且つ中空糸膜の透過能を十分に発揮することが可能な血液浄化器、及び、その製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】ポリアリレート樹脂とポリエーテルスルホン樹脂とからなるポリマーアロイ膜を主たる膜素材とした中空糸膜を束にした中空糸束をケーシング内に装填して成り、親水性高分子としてポリビニルピロリドンを用いて中空糸膜の血液接触部を親水化した血液浄化器1において、前記中空糸束を、1000EU/Lのエンドトキシン溶液を膜面積0.15m2の中空糸膜の外側から内側へ、流量50ml/minで2時間濾過した場合の濾液のエンドトキシン濃度が1.0EU/L以下になるように調整するとともに、中空糸膜の水分含有量が中空糸膜1m2あたり2.0~15.0gとなるように調整したことを特徴とする。【選択図】図1
