PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely perform offset correction, to instantaneously respond to an X-ray exposure request, and to quickly display a preview image.SOLUTION: A radiation imaging apparatus performs radiation image obtaining processing in accordance with an exposure instruction and obtains a radiation image, performs offset correction for the obtained radiation image, and displays it. The radiation imaging apparatus determines, in accordance with a predetermined criterion, whether or not offset images obtained by offset image obtaining processing are stable over time. Then, when it is determined that the offset images are not stable, offset correction is performed by using the offset images obtained by performing the offset image obtaining processing, following the obtaining of the radiation image. When it is determined that the offset images are stable, the offset correction is performed by using an offset image obtained before the obtaining of the radiation image.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】確実なオフセット補正を行うと共に、X線曝射要求への即時対応と、プレビュー画像の表示を迅速に行えるようにする。【解決手段】放射線撮像装置は、曝射指示に応じて放射線画像取得処理を実行して放射線画像を得て、得られた放射線画像をオフセット補正して表示する。放射線撮像装置は、オフセット画像取得処理で得られるオフセット画像が時間に対して安定したか否かを予め定められた基準にしたがって判定する。そして、安定していないと判定された場合は、放射線画像の取得に続いてオフセット画像取得処理を実行して得られたオフセット画像を用いて上記オフセット補正を行ない、安定していると判定された場合は、放射線画像の取得よりも以前に取得されたオフセット画像を用いて上記オフセット補正を行なう。【選択図】 図1
