PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing method used to recycle used absorbent sanitary products.SOLUTION: The processing method includes the steps of: providing a rotary cylindrical autoclave 14； loading the autoclave 14 with closed absorbent sanitary products； heating and pressurizing the autoclave 14 to a sterilization temperature and at the same time driving the autoclave in rotation about a longitudinal axis A thereof； and providing inside the autoclave 14, a plurality of high-density tearing elements designed to facilitate thermal and physical destructuring of the absorbent sanitary products. The autoclave 14 has an inner surface 22 and two ends, wherein at least one of two ends terminates in a hatch 18 or 20 that can be opened to enable access to the autoclave 14 and sealably closed to enable pressurization of the autoclave 14.【課題】使用済みの吸収性衛生用品のリサイクルに用いる処理方法を提供する。【解決手段】回転式円筒オートクレーブ１４を提供する段階と、閉じられた使用済みの吸収性衛生用品をオートクレーブ１４へロードする段階と、オートクレーブ１４を、滅菌温度に達するよう加熱および加圧し、同時に、オートクレーブ１４を、オートクレーブ１４の長手方向軸Ａの周りを回転するよう駆動する段階と、吸収性衛生用品の熱的および物理的な構造分解を促すべく設計された複数の高密度の引き裂き部材を、オートクレーブ１４内に提供する段階とを備え、円筒オートクレーブ１４は、内面２２と２つの端部とを有し、２つの端部の少なくとも１つが、開かれるとオートクレーブ１４へのアクセスを可能とし、密閉されるとオートクレーブ１４の加圧を可能にするハッチ１８、２０によって終端される。【選択図】図１
