PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insecticidal composition for insect and arthropod.SOLUTION: The composition contains an active component having a mixture of aliphatic acids and each aliphatic acid has 6 to 12 carbon straight chain length. The aliphatic acid mixture contains a first aliphatic acid molecule having a carbon straight chain having 6 to 8 carbon atom length and a carboxylic acid group. The aliphatic acid mixture also contains a second aliphatic acid molecule containing the carbon straight chain having 8 to 12 carbon atom length and the carboxylic acid group.
