Disclosed is a microbial oil comprising a triacylglycerol fraction of at least about 10% by weight, wherein at least about 12% by weight of the fatty acids in the triacylglycerol fraction is eicosapentaenoic acid, wherein at least about 20% by weight of the fatty acids in the triacylglycerol fraction is docosahexaenoic acid, and wherein less than about 5% by weight of the fatty acids in the triacylglycerol fraction is arachidonic acid.
