The present Invention relates to novel antibodies against Ficolin-3, which antibodies inhibit complement activation. The invention further relates to the use of anti-Ficolin-3 antibodies in the treatment of conditions associated with inflammation, apoptosis, autoimmunity, coagulation, thrombotic or coagulopathic related diseases, as well as the use as biomarkers.
