The present invention provides a herbal formulation for treatment of silent estrus in animals. The herbal formulation of present invention is prepared from Teramnus labialis, Calotropis gigantean, Allium cepa, Anethum graveolens and Murraya koenigii. The present invention also provides a process for the preparation of said herbal formulation. The present invention provides a safe, effective and low cost method for treatment of silent estrus.
