The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising a Rubus coreanus Miquel water extract as an active ingredient and having angiogenesis inhibition activity with respect to vascular endothelial growth factor. The Rubus coreanus Miquel water extract of the present invention inhibits phosphorylation of extracellular signal regulated kinase (ERK), p38, and VEGF receptors induced by VEGF, and inhibits proliferation of vascular endothelial cells induced by VEGF, migration of vascular endothelial cells induced by VEGF, and aortic sprouting induced by VEGF, thereby exhibiting angiogenesis inhibition activity.
