Vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGFA) is a chemical signal produced by cells that stimulates the growth of new blood vessels, and overexpression of VEGFA can lead to undesirable physiological conditions. Through the identification of new siRNA and modifications that improve the silencing ability of these siRNA in vivo, therapeutic compositions and methods have been invented to address the problems associated with this overexpression.혈관 내피 성장 인자 A(Vascular endothelial growth factor A； VEGFA)는 새로운 혈관(blood vessels)의 성장이 자극된 세포에 의해 생산되는 화학적 신호(chemical signal)이고, VEGFA 과발현은 바람직하지 않은 생리학적 상태(physiological conditions)을 초래할 수 있다. 새로운 siRNA의 동정 및 상기 siRNA의 생체 내에서(in vivo) 침묵 능력(silencing ability)을 개선하는 변형을 통하여, 상기 과발현과 연관된 문제를 다루기위한 치료상의 조성물(therapeutic composition) 및 방법을 발명하였다.
