A hybrid medical device is described having at least one synthetic biomaterial, and at least one treated biological tissue suitable for implantation attached to the biomaterial wherein the tissue provides a blood contact surface and the biomaterial provides structural support. The tissue and biomaterial are attached using a polymer and the polymer is chemically or mechanically attached to the tissue. The device may further include pharmaceutical compounds for delivery over time and radiopaque compounds for fluoroscopic visualization. In some devices the tissue may be treated to degrade over time or the tissue only partially degrades over time. The biomaterial may be polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). In one configuration the device is configured for use as a heart valve.La présente invention concerne un dispositif médical hybride comportant au moins un biomatériau synthétique, et au moins un tissu biologique traité apte à être implanté fixé au biomatériau, le tissu fournissant une surface de contact avec le sang et le biomatériau fournissant un support structurel. Le tissu et le biomatériau sont fixés au moyen dun polymère et le polymère est fixé chimiquement ou mécaniquement au tissu. Le dispositif peut également comporter des composés pharmaceutiques pour ladministration dans le temps et des composés opacifiants pour une visualisation fluoroscopique. Dans certains dispositifs, le tissu peut être traité pour se dégrader dans le temps ou le tissu peut se dégrader seulement partiellement dans le temps. Le biomatériau peut être du polytétrafluoroéthylène (PTFE). Dans une configuration, le dispositif est configuré pour être utilisé comme une valve cardiaque.
