The present invention relates to an antibody which binds to human Interleukin-2 (hIL-2), and more specifically, relates to an anti-hIL-2 antibody which specifically inhibits hIL-2 binding to CD25 by specifically binding to a specific epitope of hIL-2. The anti-hIL-2 antibody of the present invention specifically binds to the specific epitope of hIL-2 to inhibit hIL-2 binding to CD25. Thus, it minimizes expansion of Treg cells and stimulates CD8 + T cells and NK cells which exhibit antitumor activity. Therefore, the anti-hIL-2 antibody of the present invention can be used as a new anti-cancer therapeutic agent.본 발명은 인간 인터루킨-2(human Interleukin-2, hIL-2)에 결합하는 항체에 관한 것으로, 보다 구체적으로는 hIL-2의 특정 에피토프에 특이적으로 결합함으로써 hIL-2가 CD25에 결합하는 것을 저해하는 항-hIL-2 항체에 관한 것이다.본 발명의 항-hIL-2 항체는 hIL-2의 특정 에피토프에 특이적으로 결합하여 hIL-2가 CD25에 결합하는 것을 저해함으로써, Treg 세포의 확장을 최소화 하고, 항종양 활성을 나타내는 CD8+ T 세포와 NK 세포를 자극시킨다. 따라서, 본 발명의 항-hIL-2 항체는 새로운 항암 치료제로 활용 가능하다.
