PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image processing system obtaining information on a position when the optional position is designated in a medical image obtained by capturing the image of a subject.
SOLUTION: In the state that three cross section images with respect to respective standard templates on a diagnostic object image, when a position is designated by a user on any cross section image of the diagnostic object image, a cross line which indicates a position is moved to the designated position on the designated cross section image, and cross section images corresponding to the designated positions are displayed with respect to the other two cross section images. Mean while, coordinates of the diagnostic object image corresponding to the designated position are transformed into those of the standard template to display three cross section images corresponding to the coordinates. Moreover, a part information storage means is referred to at the coordinates of the standard template, a name of the part corresponding to the coordinates are obtained, and displayed.
