PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feed for broilers, and a method for improving meat quality of broilers.SOLUTION: As a feed for broilers, 0.01-0.8 mass% of collagen peptide is incorporated to be used. Collagen is added into a commercially available feed for poultry farming to be within the above range and fed to broilers. When sampling meat after the expiration of a breeding period of ordinary broilers, the increase of the thickness of the membrane of a thick perimysium of dark meat and the increase of the breaking strain rate of dark meat are observed by an optical microscope image. By sensory analysis, the increase in resistance to the teeth was observed significantly.
