PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exercise-assisting garment increasing the amount of activity of the muscle, such as adducent muscle, of the lower body.SOLUTION: The bottom 1 of the exercise-assisting garment includes: abduction-assisting cloth 30 for a forward-stepping leg which applies force in an abducting direction for opening the forward-stepping leg outward in a condition where the leg steps forward, to the leg； and adduction-assisting cloth 50 for a backward-stepping leg which applies force in an adducting direction for closing the backward-stepping leg inward in a condition where the leg steps backward, to the leg. When a wearer of the bottom 1 walks, the force in the abduction direction is applied to the leg due to the tension generating in the abduction-assisting cloth 30 for the forward-stepping leg, and also, the force in the adduction direction is applied to the leg due to the tension generating in the adduction-assisting cloth 50 for the backward-stepping leg.【課題】内転筋をはじめとする下半身の筋肉の活動量を増大させることのできる運動補助着を提供する。【解決手段】ボトム１には、脚が前に出された状態において同脚を外側に開く外転方向への力を同脚に付与する前出脚外転生地３０が設けられている。また、脚が後ろに出された状態において同脚を内側に閉じる内転方向への力を同脚に付与する後出脚内転生地５０が設けられている。ボトム１の着用者が歩行するとき、前出脚外転生地３０に生じる張力により外転方向への力が脚に付与される。また、後出脚内転生地５０に生じる張力により内転方向への力が脚に付与される。【選択図】図１
