The present invention relates to a dental drill adapter designed in particular for the purpose of performing monitored drillings in the alveolar ridge bone or in the lateral wall of the maxillary sinus. The exemplary adapter consists of a sleeve (10) with an opening (11) having a diameter corresponding to the diameter of the core of the dental drill. The lower part (10) of the sleeve features a resistance flange (12) which supports a stopper. Below the flange (12), there is a fixing system (13) consisting in two conical clamping halves (14, 14) fitted with a conical thread (15). La partie inférieure (10) du manchon comporte une bride de résistance (12) qui soutient une butée. En dessous de la bride (12) se trouve un système de fixation (13) comprenant deux moitiés de serrage coniques (14, 14) ayant un filetage conique (15). Un écrou (16) est vissé sur le filetage conique (15).
