The present invention comprises an electromechanical device (1) that acts as an electronic catalogue for olfactory experimentation with different fragrances or aromas which are packaged in a cylindrical absorbent element (2) inserted into individual cartridges (3) that are interchangeable and fitted into a carousel (4) supported on central bearings (5) and moved radially by an electric motor (6) with a reducer (7) and gear train (8) that acts on a circular rack (9). When a command is received from an application, the carousel (4) rotates to position the cartridge (3) corresponding to the selected fragrance or aroma in front of the connector nozzle (10) using a positioning sensor (S) that counts the revolutions of the shaft of the electric motor (6).
