The present invention comprises an electromechanical device (D) that acts as an electronic catalogue for olfactory experimentation with different fragrances or aromas which are packaged in a laminar absorbent element (2) inserted into the individual cartridges (3) that are interchangeable and fitted into a carousel (4) supported on a central bearing (5) and moved radially by a step motor (6) associated with a crown mechanism (7), pinion (8) and circular rack (C). When a command is received from an application, the carousel (4) rotates to position the cartridge (3) corresponding to the selected fragrance or aroma in front of the connector nozzle (9) using sensors (S) positioned on the walls of the housings (11) of the carousel (4) combined with the step motor (6).
