PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for accurately determining or diagnosing an inflammatory state of a patient who receives a treatment by an IL-6 inhibitor.SOLUTION: The method for detecting the inflammatory state of the patient who receives the treatment by the IL-6 inhibitor includes measuring a PTX3 concentration in a sample derived from the patient who receives the treatment of the IL-6 inhibitor.
