PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition containing 2-phenyl-4-&lsqb3-(substituted-sulfonyl)anilino&rsqbquinazoline derivative is provided to effectively suppress hepatitis C virus proliferation with less toxicity and to prevent and treat hepatitis.CONSTITUTION: A 2-phenyl-4-&lsqb3-(substituted-sulfonyl)anilino&rsqbquinazoline derivative is denoted by chemical formula 1. A method for preparing the derivative comprises a step of reacting a compound of chemical formula 2 with an amine compound of chemical formula 3 in solvent. The solvent is alcohol of C1-C4, tetrahydrofuran, deoxane, or dimethyl formamide. The reaction is performed at 0-80°C for 1-24 hours or 50-80°C for 1-3 days.
