PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide medical needle having excellent and credible erroneous sticking preventing function which prevents occurrence of erroneous sticking.SOLUTION: The medical needle 1 includes a curved needle 10, a base 20, an extendable section 30 that extends and contracts in the z-axis direction, a skin contacting section 60 having a passage section 62 through which the curved needle 10 passes when the extendable section 30 is folded, and an external force apply mechanism 40 that applies external force in the y-axis direction to a part of the needle from a curved part 14 to a needle distal end 16 when the extendable section 30 it extended. The external force apply mechanism 40 extends the extendable section 30 and applies external force to the curved needle 10.
