PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical needle including a plate-like member, suppressing the occurrence of discomfort caused by the influence of steaminess between the skin of a patient and the plate-like member, and suppressing the propagation of bacteria.SOLUTION: This medical needle 2 includes: a curved needle 10 a base part 20 an expansion/contraction part 30 expandable/contractible in a z-direction and the plate-like member 160 connected and disposed on the opposite side of the base part 20 in the expansion/contraction part 30, and having a passage part 162 making the curved needle 10 pass. The expansion/contraction part 30 is configured such that a length along the z-direction when having extended the expansion/contraction part 30 most lengthwise becomes not less than a length from a tip part of the curved needle 10 to a curved part.
