PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow correspondence of a bone density image and a one-dimensional bone density distribution (profile) to be easily recognized when they are displayed in a bone densitometer.SOLUTION: When a line 47 is set on a bone density image 44, a profile 50 corresponding to it is displayed as a one-dimensional bone density distribution. The positions of one or more feature points are specified by analyzing the profile 50. The positions are displayed as markers 54A, 56A, 58A and 60A on the profile 50, and are displayed as markers 54, 56, 58 and 60 on the bone density image 44. When the line 47 is moved, the profile 50 is updated, and together with that, contents of respective graphic images 46 and 52 are also updated in real time.【課題】骨密度測定装置において、骨密度画像と共に一次元骨密度分布（プロファイル）が表示される場合に、それらの対応関係を容易に認識できるようにする。【解決手段】骨密度画像４４上においてライン４７が設定されると、それに対応するプロファイル５０が一次元骨密度分布として表示される。プロファイル５０の解析により１又は複数の特徴点の位置が特定される。それらの位置は、プロファイル５０上においてマーカー５４Ａ，５６Ａ，５８Ａ，６０Ａとして表示され、骨密度画像４４上においてマーカー５４，５６，５８，６０として表示される。ライン４７を移動させるとプロファイル５０が更新され、それと共にそれぞれのグラフィック画像４６，５２の内容もリアルタイムで更新される。【選択図】図２
