PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an area filled with a marking contrast medium to be erased from an image without image artifacts as barriers.SOLUTION: For post-processing of 3D image data set recorded from a body area by an imaging tomography apparatus, the 3D data set includes a hollow device at least partially filled with a marking contrast medium and a basic contrast medium, and automatic three-dimensional edge detection is performed at an area of interest including the hollow device filled with the contrast medium in the image data set, and the transition site between the area including the marking contrast medium at the image data set and the wall of the hollow device is determined as a boundary surface, and the area including the contrast medium is removed vertically to the boundary surface and an area around the transition site is weighted lower than an area far apart from the transition site by weighted high-pass filtering, and low-pass filtering is performed to smooth the transition site therearound.COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT【課題】マーキング造影剤を満たされた領域を、障害となる画像アーチファクトなしに、画像から消去することができるようにする。【解決手段】画像化断層撮影装置により身体領域から記録された3D画像データセットを後処理するために、3D画像データセットが、マーキング造影剤および基礎造影剤を少なくとも部分的に満たされた中空器官を含み、画像データセットにおいて造影剤を満たされた中空器官を含む関心部分で自動的な3次元エッジ検出が行なわれて、画像データセットにおいてマーキング造影剤を含む領域と中空器官の壁との間の移行部が境界面として決定され、境界面に垂直に、造影剤を含む領域を除去しかつ移行部の周りの領域を移行部から遠くに離れている領域よりも低く重み付けする重み付け高域通過フィルタリングが行なわれ、移行部の周りの領域において移行部を平滑するために低域通過フィルタリングが行なわれる。【選択図】図2
