PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner with favorable handling characteristics and high durability at low costs.

SOLUTION: The air cleaner 1 includes a purification filter unit 5 purifying passing air, a fan motor 7 provided in a downstream side of the purification filter unit 5 and sucking in air, a vaporization filter unit 15 disposed between the purification filter unit 5 and the fan motor 7 and humidifying passing air, a water supply tank 13 supplying water to the vaporization filter unit 15, and a dehumidification unit disposed between the purification filter unit 5 and the fan motor 7 and dehumidifying passing air. It includes a pump p supplying water to a water supply tray 18 supplying water of the water supply tank 13 to a vaporization filter 6 in the vaporization filter unit 15, and a control means E for controlling operation of the pump p, and the water supply tank 13 and the vaporization filter unit 15 can be individually drawn out and housed in a body comprising other components.
