The present invention relates to an oral X-ray sensor (intraoral X-ray sensor) for the X-ray imaging of structures inside the oral cavity, and more particularly relates to an oral X-ray sensor having waterproof functionality whereby a liquid such as a patients saliva or a cleaning fluid can be prevented from penetrating into same.
