PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon dioxide gas application device and an application control method for applying an adequate volume of carbon dioxide gas to a well grown part of a cultivation crop at an arbitrary period of time in a solar greenhouse.SOLUTION: The carbon dioxide gas application device comprises a solenoid valve at downstream of a pressure regulator with a flowmeter connected to a carbon dioxide gas cylinder and a carbon dioxide gas storage tank. The solenoid valve is opened or closed within a period of time determined with a timer. The concentration of carbon dioxide gas is measured with a carbon dioxide gas densitometer. The carbon dioxide gas is applied under sequential control where the solenoid valve is opened when the carbon dioxide gas concentration is equal to or lower than a pre-determined lower limit of concentration and the solenoid valve is closed when the carbon dioxide gas concentration is equal to or higher than a pre-determined higher limit of concentration. An application position of the carbon dioxide gas to the cultivation crop is arranged at a position under the center part of a well grown part. A gas absorption port of the carbon dioxide gas densitometer is arranged at a position on the edge of the well grown part, a top position or a side position of the cultivation plant.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】 本発明は太陽光型ハウスにおいて任意の時間帯に栽培作物の繁茂部分に炭酸ガスを適正量施用する炭酸ガス施用装置と施用制御方法を提供する。【解決手段】 炭酸ガスボンベや炭酸ガス貯蔵タンクに接続された流量計付き圧力調整器の後に電磁弁を設置し、タイマーで決定された時間帯に電磁弁の開閉を行うとともに、炭酸ガス濃度計で炭酸ガス濃度を測定し炭酸ガス濃度が設定下限濃度以下になった場合は電磁弁を開にし、設定上限濃度以上になった場合は電磁弁を閉にする制御をシーケンスによって行うことにより炭酸ガスを施用し、栽培作物への炭酸ガスの施用位置は繁茂部分の中心の下部となる場所とし、炭酸ガス濃度計のガス吸引口を繁茂部分が途切れる部分、栽培植物の頂点部分あるいは横部分を代表とする部分とすることを特徴とする炭酸ガス施用装置。【選択図】図1
