The surface sheet (2) has, in the portion covering the skin-contacting surface side of the absorbent body (4), an uneven region (2a) in which protrusions are formed in a scattered dot pattern, and the portion covering the non-skin-contacting surface side of both side portions of the absorbent body (4) is a flat even region (2b) that does not have recesses or protrusions.
