The present invention relates to a preparation method of a composition for controlling green algae using dolomite and a removing method of green algae using the composition. The composition of the present invention comprises a magnesium hydroxide fine powder with improved specific surface area produced from dolomite. The present invention has an effect of most efficiently producing magnesium hydroxide by performing a hydration reaction process by using about 25 to 30 wt% of a light-burned dolomite mixture, and has an effect of obtaining a magnesium hydroxide fine powder with considerably improved specific surface area by enabling a microwave to dry, for 10 minutes or more, a magnesium hydroxide cake on which the hydration reaction process has been performed, thereby forming innumerable small-sized pores in the magnesium hydroxide cake. The magnesium hydroxide fine powder has effects of facilitating storage and maintaining aggregation and settling properties with the green algae since the magnesium hydroxide fine powder does not cause a phase transition for 30 days or more in a suspension. The magnesium hydroxide fine powder has an effect that the green algae can be effectively controlled by scattering the magnesium hydroxide fine powder onto a river that is in an outbreak of algae situation since the magnesium hydroxide fine powder has high aggregation and settling properties with the green algae, thereby effectively aggregating and settling green algae or blue-green algae. Further, the magnesium hydroxide fine powder has an effect of preventing growth and generation of the green algae or blue-green algae by removing 99% or more of total phosphorous of the river, thereby suppressing the formation of chlorophyll-a.본 발명은 백운석을 이용한 녹조류 방제용 조성물의 제조방법 및 이를 이용한 녹조 제거방법에 관한 것이다. 상기 녹조류 방제용 조성물은 백운석으로부터 산출된 비표면적이 향상된 수산화마그네슘 미세분말이 포함된다. 본 발명은 경소백운석 혼합물의 양을 약 25 ~ 30 wt%로 사용하여 수화반응을 수행하므로 수산화마그네슘이 가장 효율적으로 산출되는 효과가 있으며 상기 수화반응이 수행된 cake 상의 수산화마그네슘을 마이크로웨이브를 이용하여 10분 이상 건조하므로
