PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wound covering surface material capable of capturing exudate from a wound while maintaining moist environment and preventing an area of the exudate from widely spreading, being peeled off easily after use, eliminating the occurrence of flush, rash and offensive odor, and being fitted to wound surfaces having different shapes.SOLUTION: A wound covering surface sheet is formed by laminating and integrating an exudate permeation layer (1), an absorption and retention layer (3) and a second exudate permeation layer (1a) in this order from a side facing a wound part (15) when used. The exudate permeation layer (1) includes a first surface (11) facing the wound part (15), a second surface (12) provided on the opposite side of the first surface, and a number of penetration holes (13) penetrating in the thickness direction between both surfaces (11 and 12).
