The chair has a base (10) supported by a frame. Height of a backrest (20) is parallel to a first axis (Z), and width is parallel to a second axis (Y) and perpendicular to the first axis. The backrest is articulated with respect to the base around a third axis (Y20) parallel with the second axis. A right armrest (41) and a left armrest (42) are articulated on the backrest around a fourth axis (Y40) parallel to the second axis.
