PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a deformed shape after the arbitrary part of an absorbent article is deformed into a desired shape.
SOLUTION: The shape holding member 5 is provided with a thin sheet-like body part 51 which can be plastically deformed and an attaching part 52 provided on the first main surface 515 of the body part 51. The attaching part 52 is provided with two attaching members 521 placed in the vicinity of both end parts in the longitudinal direction of the body part 51. The body part 51 is provided with thin, belt-shaped two resin members 511 facing the longitudinal direction and a first sheet member 512 and a second sheet member 513 which cover the two resin members 511 so as to sandwich them in-between. In the shape holding member 5, the body part 51 is attached to the arbitrary part of an absorbent article by the attaching part 52 and the resin member 511 of the body part 51 is plastically deformed, so that a deformed shape is maintained after the arbitrary part of the absorbent article is deformed into the desired shape.
