Die Erfindung betrifft eine Zusammensetzung, insbesondere eine pharmazeutische Zusammensetzung, welche vorzugsweise in Form einer festen oder flüssigen, insbesondere festen Dosierung vorliegt, welche zur topischen Behandlung von Heiserkeit oder Halsschmerzen und/oder entzündlichen Erkrankungen des Mund- und Rachenraums geeignet ist, wobei die Zusammensetzung in Kombination und jeweils in wirksamen, insbesondere pharmazeutisch wirksamen, Mengen (a) mindestens ein Polysaccharid, vorzugsweise ein virustatisches und/oder antiviral wirksames Polysaccharid, (”Komponente (a)”)； (b) mindestens ein Oberflächendesinfektionsmittel, (”Komponente (b)”)； sowie (c) gegebenenfalls mindestens ein vorzugsweise saures Glykosaminoglykan oder dessen physiologisch unbedenkliche Salze oder Derivate, insbesondere Hyaluronsäure oder deren Salze, (”Komponente (c)”)； aufweist.Composition in a solid or liquid form, preferably solid dosage form, comprises: (a) 0.1-40 wt.%, preferably 3-18 wt.% at least one polysaccharide, preferably a virustatic and/or antiviral polysaccharide； (b) 0.001-5 wt.%, preferably 0.05-0.5 wt.% at least a surface disinfectant； and (c) 0.01-10 wt.%, preferably 0.1-2 wt.% optionally at least one acidic glycosaminoglycan or its salts or derivatives, preferably hyaluronic acid or its salts； (d) 0.01-5 wt.%, preferably 0.1-1 wt.% optionally at least one local anesthetic. ACTIVITY : Antiinflammatory. The antiinflammatory activity of the composition was tested in patients (18-75 years old) with inflammatory diseases of the ear and throat by administering composition (lozenge tablet containing 0.25 wt.% glycerin, 10 wt.% carrageenan, 0.25 wt.% polyhexanide, 77.41 wt.% matrix former, 11.75 wt.% carrier substance, and 0.34 wt.% flavored component) for 3 days. The result showed that the lozenge tablet exhibited reduction of inflammation (1.8) (according to the school grading system), compared to the tablets (mono preparation of active ingredients) (3.0).
