PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide accuracy improved gradation in accordance with the imaging region when a long-size image produced by sticking a plurality of images is subjected to gradation conversion.SOLUTION: An image generation section 202 includes a pixel correction section 203 which corrects the pixel value of a partial image obtained by a partial image obtaining section 201, and an image composition section 204 which sticks the partial images together on an overlap region and synthesizes. A feature quantity obtaining section 208 analyzes each partial image in accordance with information of an imaging region obtained by an imaging region obtaining section 207, and calculates a feature amount. The each partial image is obtained by the partial image obtaining section 201 after being corrected by the pixel correction section 203.
